Was lucky enough to meet James at a conference when I was 11 years old. Since then I have followed his amazing advocacy work from across the Atlantic. Decades later I would include research done by Changing Faces at similar conferences as a professional and member of the facial difference community. He has done so much for the facial difference community: we have evidence based research, informative campaigns changing how people with physical differences are portrayed in the media, and international communities that come together for support and advocacy.
